I have always written, as far back as I can remember. Here you can read a selection of both original and fan fiction, most of it finished but some of it not!
Original fiction

The Last Journey - written in 1995, this story was Highly Commended in the WH Smith Young Writer's competition for that year. It was my reaction to discovering the horrific history of the Holocaust. I still consider it one of my best pieces.
Grandad - dedicated to the memory of my paternal grandfather, who died in July 1999.
Sleeping Beauty - a work in occasional progress, a modern re-telling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy story.

Fan fiction - I write in four 'fandoms'. The first is based around the masterpiece of J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings, and the wider history associated with that work. The others are a little more frivolous, being centred on the fantasy television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel; the Hollywood blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean; and the hit BBC sci-fi series Doctor Who. All my fan fiction is written entirely for my own pleasure and I get nothing but pleasure from it.

Hithlum - your gateway to Middle-earth.

Things that go Snap in the Night - there's a lot more out there than you might guess ...
Tortuga - a pirate's haven, where the rum flows aplenty. Savvy?
Gallifrey - home of the Time Lords, a planet of wonder (once upon a time).
