I have always written, as far back as I can remember. Here you can read a selection of both original and fan fiction, most of it finished but some of it not!
Original fiction
	The Last Journey - written in 1995, this story was Highly Commended in the WH Smith Young Writer's competition for that year. It was my reaction to discovering the horrific history of the Holocaust. I still consider it one of my best pieces.
	Grandad - dedicated to the memory of my paternal grandfather, who died in July 1999.
	Sleeping Beauty - a work in occasional progress, a modern re-telling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy story.
Fan fiction - I write in three 'fandoms'. The first is based around the masterpiece of J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings, and the wider history associated with that work. The second and third more frivolous, being centred on the fantasy television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel; and the Hollywood blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean. All my fan fiction is written entirely for my own pleasure and I get nothing but pleasure from it.
